Dysport is another form of the botulinum neurotoxin, the same substance that Botox is made out of. Dysport, however, is a new formula that has several advantages over Botox. Dysport offers a faster recovery time, begins working faster, presents a lower risk of tolerance development, and lasts longer when compared with Botox. Dysport has been used in countries outside the United States for years, and has recently been approved by the Food and Drug Administration based in part on trials conducted by Boca Raton's own Doctor David Goldberg.
Like Botox, Dysport is used to treat wrinkles on the face by paralyzing the muscles that cause them. The chemical is used to treat forehead lines, crow's feet, laugh lines, and frown lines.
