Fort Lauderdale Botox

Welcome to Cosmetic Dermatology Center. BOTOX® Cosmetic is still the most popular cosmetic procedure in the United States and one of our most requested Injectable Fillers. BOTOX® is quick, safe and effective in reducing and eliminating facial lines and wrinkles for up to six months with no downtime or surgery and little to no discomfort. Through tiny injections, BOTOX® gives you a rejuvenated look by smoothing crow's feet beneath the eyes, frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal lines across the forehead, lines around the mouth, and lines on the neck. We perform Botox injections in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County as well as patients in Palm Beach and Dade County.

Botox Cosmetic is a trade name for botulinum, a neurotoxin which, when injected beneath the skin in small amounts, removes some wrinkles by paralyzing the muscles that cause them. Since Botox is useful to treat wrinkles on the face, it is sometimes called a non-surgical facelift or a liquid lift when combined with other injectable fillers. Botox may also be used to treat excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis) by disabling sweat glands.

The Botox injection procedure in our office usually lasts about ten minutes per area and consists of several injections through small-diameter needles. Patients often notice reduction of unwanted facial features; such as crows feet, forehead wrinkles, and frown lines within days after the procedure.

Side effects of Botox include allergic reactions. More commonly, patients experience temporary pain, swelling, tenderness, redness, or bleeding around the injection site. Botox can interfere with infections if they are present. You should tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and if you have any diseases that affect your nervous system or muscular system. Botox can interfere with some medicines, so make sure to let your doctor know about any medications you are taking.
