ACT 2 Records discovered Ohsha Kai at their open auditions held in Philadelphia last August. Philly born Ohsha has been singing since she can remember. Raised in a home filled with the sounds of gospel greats such as Andre Crouch, Vicky Winans and Shirley Ceasar, Osha was deeply influenced by soulful riffs, heartfelt melodies, and passionate powerhouse vocals. She wasn't exposed to dance music until high school, and as she recalls, "the first time I heard house music, I knew I was in love". Ohsha worked professionally in Philly doing backup vocals for several of R&B singers and Hip-hop artists.
